Who we are

We are a creative multimedia agency based in the Netherlands. Our team of “digital storytellers” incorporates recognised and proven expertise in filmmaking, animation, web design and development, event video production, crowd sourcing and social media.

We engage our passion as storytellers to discover diverse real-life experiences and use our creativity and imagination to bring the stories to life so they can reach a wide audience with the original message and spirit of the experience.

As filmmakers, we use the most agile production techniques to maximise the potential of the resources available to us and produce high quality professional media, expertly tailored to the specific objective and ethos of the project.

Our multimedia tools producers and web designers have extensive practical experience in the development and implementation of multilingual portals with a large attendance, multimedia and web-based products with educational, presentation and entertainment purposes, and multi-lingual study materials.

We are honoured to have earned the trust and respect of our partner organisations, both in the public and private sector, with whom we have cooperated successfully on a number of successful international projects.

Projects

Inthecity Studio is partner in diverse European educational projects. The combined knowledge and experience of project partners provides opportunities to explore the wide applicability of innovative approaches and methods, to examine and test them, and share them with the European community and beyond. We are currently oriented in developing concepts and educational artistic products in two main areas: social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, and embedding digital storytelling in different education curricula of a variety of business sectors.

 

BLAST! - Fostering Youth Social Inclusion through Blockchain for Sustainability

BLAST! project aims at fostering social inclusion through a non-formal learning programme on the Sustainable Revolution, through Blockchain and DTL emergent technologies. The project objectives are to develop a state of the art non-formal learning programme, complemented with video-based digital learning to enhance youth engagement. BLAST! project must be carried out transnationally to ensure the products will meet the previously identified EU needs, through the wide experience of project partners in different areas of expertise and joint EU efforts from different sectors to address the issue of youth social inclusion.

Green MiCred Pathways

‘Green MiCred Pathways’ seeks to provide a micro-credential green skills framework informed by experts from industry, education, and training, which can facilitate adults to reskill/upskill within a lifelong learning paradigm to improve employment opportunities. The project contributes to development of a flexible and inclusive learning and teaching approach to support low skilled adult learners acquire work relevant skills to enable active participation in the green economy.

C-TOUR Circular Mindset for Sustainable Small Tourism

In the C-TOUR project we seek to minimize the negative impacts of traditional tourism on the environment, economy, and local communities.
Circular tourism aims to create closed-loop systems, where resources are used and reused in a circular manner, rather than being extracted, consumed, and discarded.
The C-TOUR Partners are working together to develop the tools which will support active or aspiring entrepreneurs and employees in the small tourism sector, as well as trainers active in tourism or entrepreneurship education, in developing their circular skills and knowledge.

New Employees’ Skills for growing e-Commerce in isolated and rural area

E-commerce is a project contributing to the development of the new skills required in rural/isolated areas, and to a comprehensive sectorial VET system development, corresponding to the sectorial and global economy requirements. The project's main objective is to upgrade the skills of e-commerce operators in times of crisis and to support SMEs from isolated/rural areas in the transition to sustainability, digitization and economic growth.

The Story Project

The Story Project: Learning from Community Stories is an EU project funded under the Youth Education Sector of the Erasmus+ programme. A consortium of 6 organisations from 4 different European countries works together to create a model and a series of creative workshops based on storytelling to help young people become more resilient and enhance their intercultural competences and creative potential.
The Story Project steps up to put young people’s voices at the heart of decision making and enable them to be part of the solution in the aftermath of the Covid-19 crisis.

DIGIWAY

“The Digital way to Employment” project aims at empowering women by providing them with an innovative learning journey that fosters their transition into digital occupations. The project addresses women at risk of exclusion from the labour market, including unemployed, or those coming (or willing to come) back to work after a gap in their careers, with the aim to contribute to the relevance of their understanding and attitudes to digital career, and thus to increase women’s participation in high-wage, high-skill fields, their inclusion, employability and economic security.

Pulse

pulseThe project ‘Pulse: Language and Communication Skills for Foreign Nurses’ aims at improvement of language, communicative and cultural competences of nurses who work or plan to work in a foreign country by using innovative methods based on digital tools for self- organised autonomous learning.
PULSE approach is to comprise both sides of the processes of migration of nurses by connecting regions and countries, both hosting foreign nurses and sending nurses abroad, not randomly but with interest to each other. Project partners’ consortium represents different stakeholders’ organisations from EU countries facing challenges in the topic of migration of nurses and comprising both sides of the processes: France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, and Romania.

‘Live Canvas: Bridging digital storytelling and business modelling for developing entrepreneurship training for adults from rural and isolated areas’ project develops learning content and digital tools, to foster acquisition of entrepreneurial skills of geographically disadvantaged adults by bridging digital storytelling and business modeling.
